Spring Look Book 2019 with Primark, Fosse Park | AD

I love Spring. I love Spring fashion. I love Spring weather. It’s that reminder that summer is on its way and new beginnings are on the horizon.

altea-4.png

If there’s one thing I love about the switch of the seasons, it’s the ditching of the jeans and the jumper and stepping out in floaty dresses, jumpsuits and mini-skirts. I love Spring. I love Spring fashion. I love Spring weather. It’s that reminder that summer is on its way and new beginnings are on the horizon. Flashback to around February time, I was scrolling through Instagram saving all of these beautiful Spring inspired outfits and I noticed one thing that stood out more than anything else: neutrals.

Whilst last year I was all about the flash of colour, leaning towards yellows and greens, this year, I’ve stripped it all back and opted for the once-boring hue. Spring 2019 is all about neutrals. The absolute key to making neutrals work is to switch it up with textures and accessories to bring the outfit to life. Neutrals can and will look sophisticated, chic and expensive.

This Spring 2019, I was challenged to create a Spring Look Book using a £100 gift card at Primark, kindly given to me by Fosse. Here is your Spring Styles for your looks this 2019:

Polka Dot Dress

standing in spanish studio, altea, polka dot dress, straw bag and sandals 2019

The polka dot dress was one that I was unsure about in the shop. I loved it off, but I just wasn’t sure that it would suit me. However, I’m so glad I went for it. The polka dot pattern is one that continues to roll back in and out of fashion, and vogue for the matter. Last year the revival of polka dots came back around and it doesn’t appear to be exiting any time soon. The once-outdated polka dot trend has been given a new life and it’s definitely filling up my Instagram inspiration board more and more.

polka dot dress girl sitting next to car hola

A polka dot dress, like this one from Primark, requires little styling which is why it’s such a staple piece for 2019. It’s an easy to wear dress that you can throw on, whilst looking like you’ve made such a big effort, it’s such a winner. I paired it with the battered straw bag, brown sandals and cream cardigan, all from Primark. This entire outfit was less than £30. I love that I feel like a neutral Minnie Mouse in this dress, it’s almost like a subtle way to add the Disney fashion trend whilst still ticking the neutral trend box.

Palm Print Jumpsuit

I think it’s safe to say that there is a jumpsuit now that works for everybody. With a range of styles, patterns and fits, the jumpsuit has really come into its own recently. So much so, that even I am able to find one that works for me.

Stepping into Spring 2019, the jumpsuit is even more on trend than it was just a few years ago. Walking down the high street, the jumpsuits are everywhere to be seen, no longer restrained to vintage stores, it’s a staple piece that requires little effort. There’s no need to worry about pairing or matching, it’s a ready made solid outfit.

The palm print jumpsuit would be a great festival outfit, paired with a battered straw hat, brown sandals or wedges and the battered straw bag. The palm print jumpsuit, priced at £15, goes really well with the sandals and straw bag, topped off with the ombre oversized sunglasses priced at just £3.  It comes with a chic palm print pattern tie up belt too which is perfect for sculpting the waist line.

Denim Belted Skirt

spring 2019 styles altea spain

I wanted to pick up a piece that I knew would be timeless, one that I can take photos of in America and still think it looks acceptable in ten, fifteen, twenty years. Although looks can be bang on trend for this season, I know that turning the corner into Summer 2019, or Spring 2020 the trend may have long gone. I may be wearing my polka dot dress now and loving it, but will I feel the same in a decade? I adore wearing bits and pieces that are in fashion, but I’m also very conscious to always pick up something that will weather the fashion storm, and that’s exactly what a denim skirt and a white shirt will do.

laying on wall tommy hilfiger denim skirt, white shirt altea spain 2019

The last time I went to America, I stocked up on clothes that were in fashion for that summer, but now I look back and cringe. I cringe uploading a photo by the Hollywood sign with a print vest top that has frills at the bottom paired with shoes with a silver chain, (where even more tragically one of them had fell off somewhere in San Francisco). But, I know that a white shirt and a denim skirt paired with my own Tommy Hilfiger trainers will always be a look. I’ll be wearing the denim skirt long after spring/summer 2019 has come to an end. I’m aware that in Summer 2029, I might be cringing at the white shirt tucked in or wondering why I’m wearing the skirt so high, but it’s a safer option!

The white shirt with a tie up bottom is priced at £8 and the denim skirt priced at £12 is a classic ensemble for spring 2019. I’m a big advocate for boosting up high street clothes by pairing it with a staple designer piece, so I’m pairing my denim skirt and white shirt from Primark with my Tommy Hilfiger Chunky Mixed Textile Trainers (£115).

Green Linen Trousers

Linen trousers spring look book 2019

Apparently, there was still that pull towards green for me, perhaps it’s the fact that I’ll definitely still be wearing my green trousers from Spring Styles 2018 or perhaps it’s because I know that linen trousers are just so comfortable and breezy as the weather turns up a notch.

Green linen trousers spring styles 2019

I remember vaguely having a pair of black linen trousers that I used to wear for work at Tesco about nine years ago, wow let me take one moment, doesn’t that sound old?! and I absolutely loved them. They always looked nice with the white shirt and more importantly, they were comfortable and practical. I’m sounding even older. But, ever since then I’ve never really took much notice to linen. I either never found any that suited me or there just wasn’t much of it around, and I’m sure it’s the latter.

When I found these green linen trousers from Primark priced at £10, I knew I had to have them. The combination of my much loved old work linen trousers and the Spring Styles 2018 colour preference, whilst being toned down to a shade of neutral, it seemed a no brainer for Spring 2019.

Matching up with the same white shirt, sandals and straw bag, it’s a perfect outfit for a day exploring the city or wandering along the beach front before stopping off for a café con leche. It’s a comfortable yet effortlessly chic look that is perfect for spring time both in England and abroad.

I also picked up a few little bits and pieces like a Minnie Mouse luggage tag for America, a Stitch yellow t-shirt and a few basic vest tops to swap in and out with my denim skirt or a pair of Tommy Hilfiger shorts I have my eye on.

Hasta luego,

Autumn/Winter 2018 Looks at Fosse Park

I had an amazing time shopping at Fosse again, for comfortable shopping and all of the hottest styles in a clear airy space with plenty of free parking, get yourselves down to Fosse.

Autumn_Winter Looks.png

Saturday 20th October 2018 – Day 20 of Blogtober

After what seemed like an endless summer, even for England, the dark mornings and cold nights have finally made an appearance. Autumn has officially arrived, which means a new fashion season is here!

It’s time to adjust our wardrobes accordingly and shop the Autumn Attire Looks and Winter Warmers Trends with Fosse.

fosse sign

Autumn 2018 is bringing a host of new looks and revival trends. Expect to see influences from the Eighties, styled coats, British heritage looks and one of my favourites – the Clueless look. Don’t forget, it’s time to get wild with the animal print too. Which by the way, never goes out of style so stock up whilst you can.

I’ve been thinking about finally being able to wear my Autumn/Winter 2018 range now since around late August. Once the whole thrill of summer has ended, I’m ready to switch up my wardrobe and get into something a little cosierAlso, it marks the end of leg shaving season so let’s all stand and rejoice together.

Whilst I was back in England, I made sure that I took a trip to Fosse Park to spruce up my wardrobe. Shopping just isn’t the same elsewhere, especially in Spain. The shops are a lot less enjoyable. There isn’t the feel-good factor associated with shopping that I get at Fosse elsewhere for me.

You really can get it all there. Plus, the Food Court is that naughty but nice area where you can celebrate your new purchases.

The thing about Autumn, more so than any other time of year, is it’s all about those key, staple pieces. Autumn brings wardrobe pieces that you add to year after year because they serve a purpose. They’re like a trusty friend.

You’ll start with your Autumn pieces and begin to add to them as the season progresses into winter, so it’s worth checking what you already have before heading for a wardrobe replenish.

Saying that it’s also important to check if you need to upgrade and clear some clothes out. That jumper might be cosy and snug, but if it’s bobbled up and starting to look a little tired then it’s time to swap it out. You’ll be wearing them a lot.

Before heading to Fosse, I did a major clear out of my wardrobe I was ready to shop until I dropped. Or as close as. A suitcase cleared out of my wardrobe and dropped to the charity shop – I was ready.

What I’m Wearing Autumn/Winter 2018

During my time at Fosse, I went to my favourite shops, New Look, Primark and Outfit collating the best looks for Autumn/Winter 2018 that fits my lifestyle and personality.

I enjoy spending time with my mum mixing and matching the clothes and looks from different shops. It really brings an outfit to life and adds that touch of authenticity and originality when you’ve mixed and matched as opposed to wore an outfit all from one shop.

As always, shopping at Fosse is so enjoyable. There’s space to move, the clothes are organised and tidy and the whole atmosphere is so much calmer. I really rate the level of cleanliness too. The staff really are an asset to the shopping centre.

fosse park in autumn with primark

My main colour scheme this Autumn is mustard with elements of black and white. I’m also going to be keeping it pretty neutral.

As the colours turn down a notch in the natural world, I’ll be adding that splash of mustard to sprinkle a subtle colour.

Teddy Bear Coats

edf
Coat and skirt: Outfit Shirt: New Look

I never knew I needed a teddy coat until I tried on a Teddy Coat. I have never put on a coat and loved it from the moment it went on. Usually, they’re more a case of functionality and the fact I know I have to wear a coat as opposed to wanting to wear a coat. Well, I want to wear the Teddy Coat from Outfit at Fosse.

The Teddy Coat is a staple item and my biggest purchase. At £69, it was a steal for the sheer quality. It’s the staple item that will be seen the most. A coat hides most outfits, but what hides a coat? Nothing.

Make sure you choose a coat you love that will turn heads as you walk by. I’ve had so many compliments on the Teddy Coat already!

It’s lined with a beautiful pink lining which feels soft and cosy. It’s a beautiful coat that I can’t wait to showcase. You can pick up the same Teddy Coat from TopShop in Outfit at Fosse. Mine is a size 6.

Mustard Mood

There are a few pieces of mustard sneaking into my wardrobe this year.

I am loving the new loose blouses that have arrived in New Look, and the mustard one looks so lovely paired with the mustard and black skirt. I’ll definitely be pairing them with my black boots.

IMG_4038.JPG
Shirt, Skirt: New Look

I love my teddy coat, but I wanted to pick up a second coat for those rainy days. Primark does a really good range of coats all at very low prices. But, the ones that caught my eye were the ones that look perfect for packing, which is ideal for Autumn/Winter getaways. Travel is always on my mind.

Packing down into next to nothing in the bag it comes with, the waterproof coats come in a range of colours at just £15. It has a really nice feel to it and the mustard really finishes off the mustard outfits. It’ll be ideal for rainy days!

IMG_20181014_134306.jpg
Hat, Scarf, Jacket: Primark Skirt: Outfit

Following with the mustard mood, I also found a gorgeous mustard jumper from New Look for £9.99! I couldn’t believe how low-priced it was! Most of the jumpers are reaching £20-£25 so I really was surprised. It’s a soft to touch, comfortable jumper with no itchiness!

IMG_4174.JPG
Jumper: New Look

The one thing I can’t bear is wearing an itchy jumper – so if you’re anything like me, you’ll be running to pick one of these up knowing that comfort was a core selling point. I love the drop down back too, which will be perfectly paired with a pair of leggings or black jeans or a black skirt! Yes, of course, I’m going to wear black boots with them!

Cosy Skirts

Swerving away from trousers this season, I’ve headed full steam ahead to Skirt Central.

Paired with boots, tights, a cosy coat, hat, gloves, scarves and a jumper – skirts are perfect for me to keep that element of femininity and figure.

a683af90-6b5d-423a-9f0b-0bbd743151b1.JPG
Hat, boots, tights, skirt: Primark

With all the layering up, I start to feel like I lose my figure and myself amongst it all. Skirts are that little piece that empowers. They highlight the figure and add that flair of femme power, for me.

Denim Skirt: New Look. Jacket, Scarf, Tights, Boots, Gloves and Hat: Primark

I was able to find so many stunning skirts in Primark, which were dupes of skirts in New Look and Outfit. Most of them, actually fitting and looking better than the ones in the two shops!

Styling Autumnal T-Shirts

Although the weather is a tad mild for October; I haven’t gone mad yet. T-shirts are an essential item for Autumn! Bare with me.

I couldn’t resist this Amsterdam t-shirt in TopShop for £12. It is a stitched t-shirt of the Amsterdam skyline with a windmill. I love remembering our travel memories and love to incorporate it into my style when I can and this t-shirt was just perfect for it. They also offer a Paris t-shirt which is really cute with the Paris skyline and Eiffel Tower.

IMG_20181014_135310.jpg
T-Shirt: Outfit Jacket: Primark

It’s made in England and a really soft to touch t-shirt. I love it so much that it was the t-shirt I just had to travel in. It’s perfect for a base layer.

I find that during the autumn/winter months I have so many jumpers but never any autumnal looking tees. Sometimes, especially indoors you just want to take a jumper off or those incredibly itchy ones where you need a t-shirt under but don’t really feel right wearing a crop top or one with palm trees all over!

The Amsterdam t-shirt is that perfect autumnal looking soft t-shirt that will go with everything. I mean, how perfect is it too that I added Amsterdam as my Top 5 Autumnal Travel Destinations the other day too? As much as I’d like it to be – it wasn’t planned!

I also picked up a red t-shirt from New Look that will look great with the pair of black leggings with a red stripe down the side, that I already own.

Wild Animal

Who’s feeling wild this Autumn? Apparently me! The thing about Animal is it always comes back around. Used well, it can and will be timeless. I love a subtle hint of animal – it just spruces up an outfit.

Keeping it simple, I picked up a black and white animal print t-shirt from New Look and an animal print scrunchie.

The t-shirt is that slightly baggy going to look amazing so many different ways style t-shirts. I’m looking forward to pairing it with my black skirt and black midi boots.

IMG_20181014_141130_1.jpg
Skirt: Outfit T-Shirt: New Look

I love how the T-shirt can be dressed down with jeans, boots and a coat or styled for going out with a skirt and boots. Perfect Autumn looks!

Check-Mate

A few years ago, I was travelling through Valencia and everything was stolen. My tablet, my camera that I’ve still not been able to replace, money, suitcases, Christmas presents and my clothes.

Strangely enough, alongside the sentimental things, like photos, Christmas presents and of course, the camera. The only piece of clothing I mourned for was a pair of checkered leggings. I’d worn these leggings so often, they were so comfortable and just looked a staple piece.

IMG_20181014_162024_1.jpg
Jumper and Socks: New Look Leggings: Outfit

Well, after we had almost finished at TopShop in Outfit, I had £5 left to spend. Low and behold, there’s one pair of £7 checkered leggings in my size, almost identical to the ones that were stolen. Can I say it’s like fate? I’m so looking forward to being able to pair them with plain jumpers and bold red again.

It’s like everything has done a full circle. I’ve gone from having everything stripped from me to things coming back around. It’s funny how life twists and turns. Or maybe I’m just too sentimental over a pair of leggings. Either way. I love them.

Boots Boots Boots

I mean, who isn’t wearing boots this Autumn/Winter? I know it’s not revolutionary. But, this season, cowboy boots are back with a vengeance and I’m excited. They’re set to be the must-have footwear for Autumn and I managed to pick up these gorgeous brown ankle boots from Primark. They’re super comfy to walk in and will be ideal for autumnal walks.

IMG_20181014_152749.jpg
Coat, T-Shirt: Outfit Skirt, Tights, Boots: Primark

I also managed to find a striking pair of midi high heeled black boots which look cute paired with a lot of the outfits – but especially the black skirt, Amsterdam tee and teddy coat. They’re definitely show-stopping boots. The best part is they’re easy to walk in and are comfortable to wear.

Let’s Get Accessorising

More is more in Autumn/Winter and the same goes for accessories.

Who doesn’t love picking up new comfy scarves, gloves and hats for the upcoming winter? It’s one of my favourite parts of autumn shopping.

edf
Jacket, Boots, Scarf, Hat: Primark. Skirt, Tshirt: Outfit Bag: New Look

Primark has such a fantastic range of winter accessories in and I really could’ve gone mad! I decided on a neutral scarf, that was a dub of a scarf we saw in Outfit next to my coat, a black bobble hat that really pops the colour of my hair and will match everything and a pair of mustard real leather gloves.

The accessories were incredibly cheap, don’t we just love Primark for this! So you can definitely pick up a range of scarves, hats and gloves to mix it up over the season without feeling guilty!

IMG_4335.jpg

Gloves: Primark

Pyjamas

Well, there was just no way we can enter the Autumn/Winter seasons without a brand new pair of cosy pyjamas, was there?

When I found a pair of pyjamas, I just knew I had to have. Not only are they Disney, but Lady is a cavalier, just like my two. I can’t wait to cuddle on the sofa with my cavalier watching Disney movies now the weather has that chill in the air.

IMG_4346.JPG
Pyjamas, Slippers: Primark

I also picked up a new pair of memory foam slippers, which are a good dupe of the Ugg brown memory foam slippers. I’m definitely excited for cosy evenings with movies, Yankee candles and snacks. Isn’t that just the definition of Autumn?

I had an amazing time shopping at Fosse again, for comfortable shopping and all of the hottest styles in a clear airy space with plenty of free parking, get yourselves down to Fosse.

We finished our visit off by having a coffee and some treats at Druckers at the Food Court. Shopping and Cakes, it’s always a good time down Fosse, which is why Fosse is my top shopping place in Leicester.

Step out in a whole new #SpringStyles outfit, after all, new season, new wardrobe.

Pro Tip.png

“La primavera nos recuerda que
la naturaleza no termina”

Spring has sprung, nights are getting lighter and days are getting longer. There may be a few April showers, but the sun is showing itself a little bit more, and don’t we all feel so much happier about it?

Isn’t it strange how the sun can just boost your mood? But you know what else is an instant booster? A successful shopping trip!

After a long winter, it was definitely time to ditch those dark colours and step out in a whole new #SpringStyles outfit, after all, new season, new wardrobe. That’s the rule, right?

Rule number 2: When in Leicester, one must spend time at Fosse.

Have you ever been to Fosse? There is something about it that feels so inviting and welcoming. You know the stress that comes with fighting your way through other shopping centres? Well, that just doesn’t happen here. There is space. There is no rush.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Good news, men: you know that changing room chair? Well, how about a changing room sofa?!

In a world full of internet shopping, that just isn’t for me. Maybe it’s because I’m impatient. If I see the clothes, I want them now.

I don’t want to wait three working days and hope the delivery service doesn’t fail me.

I don’t want to find something perfect and then have one of those internet disasters where the clothes just don’t look like the picture. I hate the waiting game.

I want my clothes now.

Filling your arms with hangers of pretty clothes and rummaging through which ones look the best. Something you just don’t get with internet shopping.

IMG_7799

I love taking photos in the changing rooms and seeing what works and what doesn’t. You just can’t do that online.

The cleanliness. The aesthetic rails. The rows and rows of pretty clothes. Even window shopping makes you feel good inside. There aren’t many shopping centres that are as clean as Fosse. Kudos to the staff!

Delivery costs? Parking? Why pay for parking elsewhere, when that can be an actual purchase.

I have bought sandals and make-up for the same price that I would’ve paid elsewhere to just park my car. I just love that Fosse has free parking. Plus with over 2,000 spaces there’s not a lot of fighting for a parking space!

During my time back to Leicester, I was lucky enough to spend a little lot of time at Fosse and give my wardrobe a #SpringStyles makeover.

Ditching the dark and dismal winter colours for bold and beautiful has never felt so good.

Yellow

Doesn’t yellow just make you feel great? Sunshine, sunflowers, happy faces and pineapples.

There’s no surprise that yellow is associated with happiness and joy, it just radiates good vibes. Isn’t that what we all need right now?

I am absolutely loving yellow this season. Yellow was made to stand out. Let’s not fade into the background anymore. It’s time to make a head-turning statement this spring.

At Fosse, I found these beautiful trousers and cami top from New Look and I matched them with some statement earrings and comfy sandals from Primark.

The length is great. You can show off the detail to sandals without showing too much leg!

If you want to add a splash of yellow to your outfit, but aren’t feeling brave enough to go all out, why not pair the yellow cami top with a pair of black jeans or a plain black top with the trousers!

Red

Red is a beautiful colour. Passionate. Fiery.

I guess you’ve noticed that this Spring, I’m going bold.

It’s amazing how some red can just bring a once boring outfit to life. The red just pops out the screen and adds such a needed splash of colour.

I found the shoes and the bag from Primark and the cami top from New Look. Matching them with my leggings, jacket and hat has just finished off this outfit. I am loving colour splash.

Green

Green, the colour of luck and health. Nature’s beauty is filled with greens. A beautiful neutral colour that deserves its spot in your wardrobe this Spring. It is a beauty to add to denim, white or black.

Top and Trousers – New Look @ Fosse

I found this stunning outfit from New Look and paired them with a flat sandal from Primark.

Perfect for when the weather picks up in England or a beautiful holiday piece. I’m obsessed with the quirkiness of the open feature of the cropped top.

This outfit from the Cameo Rose collection at New Look is so classy. It has a perfect fit, something I sometimes struggle with having such a petite frame!

IMG_3376 2

I am loving trousers this season. I absolutely adore the top, it’s cropped with a peep opening at the front. It’s the ultimate “me” top.

IMG_3380 2

These flowery sandals from Primark are super comfy and delicate, they just scream #SpringStyles don’t they? If there’s something I’m associating with Spring, it’s the flowers blossoming!

Little Denim Dress

So here’s the thing. We all need a denim dress in our lives. Forget LBD, I’m backing the LDD.

Denim is so wear-dated. The quality of this dress and the timeless look, I just know it’s going to be making an appearance for a few more years yet!

IMG_3860

I told you I was loving red. Well, denim and red paired together is like a dream.

IMG_3929

This denim dress from Miss Selfridge is absolutely gorgeous. It has a flattering fit and paired with red heels and a red bag, it’s a perfect dressy day dress.

IMG_3871
Dress – Miss Selfridge @ Fosse

Some clothes just make you feel happy, don’t they? Normally, it takes me forever to find an outfit like that. But now, I don’t know which outfit I’m loving most. Reds, greens, yellows. There’s so much to choose from.

Floaty but Flattering

I’ve been thinking about dresses for a long time now. Since winter took its toll, I’ve been longing for the days that I could ditch the jumpers and float around in a delicate spring dress.

IMG_3480 2

I love the feminity of dresses. I love how airy they are. But, I wanted something different than the standard maxi dresses that swamp me or super short. Some days, you just want that in-between!

Cue Topshop. Topshop has really answered my prayers here. That in-between dress of my dreams! Hallelujah! It looks stunning with red too, (seeing a pattern here yet?).

IMG_3523 2

Plus ladies, if you’re going on holiday, this dress is perfect. It hardly takes up any room in your case and it’s so airy that its perfect for those hot days along the beach front.

IMG_3599

Jumpstart with a Jumpsuit

Is there anything better than being able to wear trousers without having to find the perfect top to match?

Here’s the thing: Every woman should own a jumpsuit.

The amount of time you can save in the morning. No rummaging around for matching pieces. Just step into it, zip it up and off you go. Honestly, whoever created the jumpsuit – I love you.

IMG_3766

They provide that little bit more coverage than the romper and no matter what body shape you are, you can find one that you will love. Plus, no chafing!

IMG_3665

Yep, I’m a big stripe fan. This jumpsuit was a steal at £13 from Primark and paired with these killer heels, it was less than £25 for the entire outfit. You’re welcome!

IMG_3631

The Red Heels

These red heels have been making a massive appearance of my #SpringStyles so they definitely deserved an up-close feature.

The red really pops out and they are super comfy to wear. I am normally the person moaning about blisters *photo proof of current blister*. It seems my skin just doesn’t like shoes.

But, for some unbeknown reason, these shoes have yet to blister me. Can you believe it!? Heeled shoes with no pinching or blistering!? I’m definitely not complaining.

IMG_3809

The Key to Updating your Wardrobe

The key is to mix and match. Things that match your current clothes. Things that will be versatile with other outfits.

Confession: I wasn’t always the best at this!

Once you’re stricter with yourself, it becomes so much easier! Yes, that shirt might be cute, but does it match anything else? I was so bored of “nothing” top with jeans or leggings. It was time to ditch the boring and embrace the #SpringStyles!

Wouldn’t you rather have five beautiful finished off outfits than one hundred nothing tops that kinda go with jeans and leggings?

I have really stepped out of my comfort zone with these outfits, and I couldn’t be happier. Plus, the bank won’t hate you for it either! I had the ultimate #SpringStyles shopping spree all for less than £170!

New Look and Outfit were my go-to for statement pieces and outfits, whereas Primark gave me those finishing touches, at such great prices too.

30176828_10156422241911133_672551254_o1.jpg
Can you believe all of this was less than £170?!

New Look at Fosse was my absolute favourite for picking up the core elements to my outfits. The quality is better than other high street stores but without the chunkier price tag.

Outfit at Fosse was great to pick up timeless pieces, like the denim dress. It has such a beautiful fit, even other customers in the changing rooms were complimenting it when I gave it a twirl!

Psst Students… you also get discount in New Look and Outfit!

With Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and more all under one roof, you really are spoilt for choice in there. Plus, the changing rooms are a dream. Plus, whilst the men are waiting outside, they don’t even notice how long you’re in the changing room for… no moaning means more time for shopping, am I right ladies?

Coffee Time?

Now, I don’t know about anybody else, but shopping is tiring work, right?

The Food Court at Fosse is well maintained and has a wide array of cafes and fast food outlets to please even the stubbornest amongst us.

The aesthetically pleasing decor, the comfy seats and the large capacity equates to speedy service and comfortable dining. It was perfect for a little break between shopping!

Hello Spring, See you later, Fosse!

Favourite shop at Fosse: How can I choose?! Everything brings something different, for jewellery I run to Pandora. For a timeless, statement outfit I head to Outfit, for accessories and passing trends it’s definitely a trip to Primark. But, my favourite for clothes would have to be New Look.

Favourite colour of this season:
It’s a coin flip between green and red. But, I’m loving red!

Favourite thing about Fosse: I love the outdoor, American outlet feel. I love how the shops themselves are all on one level. It gives ease of access to wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Favourite place to eat in the Food Court: I love a Costa Coffee paired with a sausage roll from Greggs. Though, I did notice that Druckers Cafe was advertising an afternoon tea, for £17.50, which looks right up my street! *note to self to book next time I’m at Fosse*

Favourite piece from this trip: I love the green. It’s something I haven’t worn before, I love the tropical vibes. The straight-leg trousers have pockets too! It’s so bold, chic and comfy!

Favourite #SpringStyles: I love dresses and every year I’m desperate to float around in one. But this year, I’m a big supporter of trousers, they can be dressed up and down with the switch of an accessory. They keep you cool in the hot weather, they’re lightweight so they’re perfect for taking on holiday. They look chic. There are so many different styles to choose from. Cropped, flared, straight, they’re all so lovely!

Find Fosse just off the M1 junction 21. Open seven days a week and late on weeknights!
